The Golden Crown Hotel was built in 2003 and is
situated amongst the main historic sites of Istanbul's old
quarter, including the Blue Mosque only 500 meters away. The 35
guest rooms, over five floors, have dark wood furnishings with
light decor. All come with direct dial telephones, climate
control, satellite televisions, wake up calls and mini bars.

The hotel's Golden Crown Restaurant features traditional decor
and serves Turkish and modern international cuisine, or guests
can order a snack from all hours room service. After dinner

exchange, a safe deposit box and a dry cleaning service. All of
the hotel's public areas are air conditioned and the elevator is
staffed by an attendant. For those arriving by car parking is
available for a surcharge. Guests will find the historic district
of Sultanhamet, where the 17th Century Blue Mosque is located, is
only 500 meters away and the extraordinary shopping experience of
the Grand Bazaar covered market is just 300 meters from the
hotel. Istanbul Ataturk Airport is 15 kilometers distance from
the hotel, an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

A shuttle bus service is available from the
airport. Taxis or dolmus shared taxis are available from the
airport. Havas airport buses run to central Istanbul every 30
minutes at peak times, and hourly at around 1200 and at night
journey time: approximately 30 minutes. Public bus no. 96 runs
into town approximately every hour 0700-1940.
